6 Wedding Trends You'll See Everywhere in 2023

Vibrant Fall Bridesmaids Bouquets at The Bradley Estate

From private final dances to bold colors and blurry flash photos, here are some wedding trends that we can expect to see next year.

 1. A Private Last Dance

After many months of planning, when the big day finally arrives you may be surprised by just how quickly the day goes by and how little time you have together, as a couple. So, to help savor every last moment and reflect on the day many couples are opting for a private last dance. This will give you the opportunity to reminisce about your wedding day, just the two of you (and your photographer and/or videographer, of course) once last time before the day is over. All your guests are ushered out while you remain on the dance you floor for one last special moment.

 2. Bold Color Schemes

Bold and unique color palettes will be everywhere this wedding season! Couples are increasingly choosing to step away from more "traditional" wedding colors and going for something that is more representative of them. Remember it's your wedding, so dream big! Whether it's your favorite colors, inspired by the sunset, or you just really love the idea of bright florals adorning your venue, don't be afraid to think outside the box with your color scheme.

 3. Non-traditional Wedding Dresses

Bold Colors don't have to stop with décor! When it comes the the iconic white wedding dress, it doesn't have to be white and it doesn't have to be a dress! Many people are choosing something with color, sometimes with a little and sometimes a lot. Pant suits, feathers, sequins, colorful florals, jumpsuits... The possibilities are endless!

 4. Blurry Flash Photos

At first you might be thinking, "why would I went blurry photos?" But before you write this off as a terrible idea take a look at this epic photo from Gabby Riggieri. Pure Magic! For more images like this - check out her IG, we are obessed!

5. Universal Bridal Parties

As we move into 2023, you'll see less "bridesmaids" and "groomsmen” more and more people, including siblings and best friends of any gender in their "bridal party". As the industry shifts to the new term "wedding party”, genderless wedding parties are not a just a trend but progression. It's your day and your wedding party should be reflective of you and your closest friends and family.

6. Statement Florals

Dramatic, Statement florals have been popping up all over the wedding scene for the last several months, and we don't see this trend going anywhere any time soon! Hanging florals, architectural florals, a bold ceremony entrance, floral wall or an array statement floral to adorn your ceremony and/or reception space.

These are the six of the trends we are anticipating for the 2023 wedding season! Let us know which one(s) are you planning to incorporate for your wedding!
